CAREER DEVELOPMENT LOAN
What is a career development loan?
A career development loan
is a deferred repayment bank loan to help you pay vocational education or

CDL’s are available
through a partnership arrangement between the department for education and
skills and banks.
How much can you borrow?
You can borrow between

How does the loan work?
The DFES pays the interest
on the loan for the period of the CDL – supported learning and for up to one
month afterwards.
You then repay the loan to
the bank over an agreed period (between 6 and 60 Months).
If you complete the
course, or stop training before the agreed date, the repayment
holiday will end up to one
month after your last day of training.
For initial 2 years,
(possibly 3) there are no payments and no interest.

For how long has AAS Group been
established |
|
Well over 10 years and we are expanding all
the time
|
What sets AAS
Group aside from the other organisations |
|
At AAS Group we specialise in bookkeeping
and accountancy courses by correspondence. However in addition to this we
have tried by adding several other services to offer the clientele as
comprehensive service as possible. Examples of this include the careers and
business register including a self employed package for those wishing to
become self employed bookkeepers.

|
Can I use the
groups total resources. |
|
Yes even if you use the services of one
section, naturally if you need assistance the element of that service can be
utilised.
|
If I use the
services of one section, can I expect to receive advise on another section. |
|
Only if you request it or if we feel
that the advice could be beneficial to you.
|
If I only need the
services for accountancy will I be charged for overheads relating to the
other sections |
|
No this is not the case, despite the
fact that all the sections complement each other; each section is separate
and contributes to the overheads of the group ensuring that costs are kept
to a minimum.

|
Is AAS Group too
large for my business |
|
AAS Group prides itself
that it is large enough to offer a comprehensive service yet small enough to
care

|
What is the aim of
the AAS Group? |
|
A: AAS Group is
dedicated to giving people the opportunity to live their lives doing what
they want and having a fruitful and productive career whether that is
working for themselves or for others. We firmly believe that as people spend
a great portion of their lives earning a living then this might as well be
spent doing something which they enjoy. The other benefit is that people
have been found to be better at things they love so there is more likely to
be greater remuneration whether that’s a salary or profits from a business
if you make your living through something you enjoy. As someone once said
'Make your vocation your vacation and you will spend your whole life on
holiday'
